Hello and welcome! :cheers:

I like your design, but I must admit the old one from Z is a hard competitor. I'd say, make the colour contrast a little bigger, i.e. less greyed. It looks very nice, though.

Oh, by the way; don't be shy to create a new thread. The thread it's placed in now is dealing with the Bitmap Brothers' Z-remake, so I'm splitting it to a separate thread to avoid confusion.

do you have experience with coding too?
And: Is this picture just a general example for 2d-grafic?
I don?t know if it?d be a good idea to make a new game look worse than it?s 11years old predecessor.
Don?t get me wrong, the buildings looks nice for an amateur , but not for a professional 2d-artist (like BB had).

@buman
Don't be so rude with him.

:cheers:

Welcome to the forum. I like your work, but I aggree with CHYROS that it needs more contrast. Apart from that very fresh pixelwork. Unfortunately I don't have the required abilities to help you :(

Keep it up!

Yes , actually I do see a positive process so far.
I did not mean to be rude but realistic , zen ;)

Which tool/program do you use to make those grafics?
And btw: where are you from?

If I see it correctly, all you've done is darken the grey shades on the side of the building, but that alone makes it look much better.

I assume, also, that the lights on the factory are switched off. Could you also post a shot of the factory with lit lights? I'm quite curious how that looks (I only just noticed the gigantic countdown clock on the building :lol: ).
