Re: Z Expansion 1.7 beta
Thanks you guys for your readiness to come and help me, I appreciate it. But that wasn't needed really, because if I didn't feel that modification could benefit some Z fans who just can't run it, for example, on work and play it in lunch break I wouldn't heed to anything that Joker says and simply w...

Re: Z remake (on XNA 2D IceCream Engine)
Hows the project coming?? I have been wondering which of the two Open Source projects will be finished first. I'm not gonna vie (and never meant it), Mike is no rival for me. Now my project is on hold for lack of time, while he puts much efforts and zeal in his project, so naturally he's gonna be f...

Re: Z remake (on XNA 2D IceCream Engine)
Oh, completely forgot about it, it's my fault. Surely, you don't have to! BB had a very nasty habit of putting configuration data not in a separate file, but in the executable itself - that is the case with start unit coordinates for the red team in single play missions, with terrain objects definit...

Re: Z remake (on XNA 2D IceCream Engine)
wow dude it is almost playable! Unfortunately, the last task is not the least. AI is not an easy task and it's still to be solved (apart from other minor issues)... Is the zooming an ingame feature? That zoom made me think if we could have extralarge (I mean larger than the maximum of 256x256) leve...

Re: The Zod Engine
There is plenty I can have you do =) There is lots of graphics tweaking that needs done, and i still need to get a hold of the sounds to the game. I have them ready for you :D Although I have my own XNA remake project running and thus cannot help you out with coding, I'm glad that I can be of help ...

I, along with Ballwin, have spent considerable amount of time studying Z files structure.
So you don't need to waste your time following our way, just ask us

Re: ZEdMap (ZEditor modifcation)
Hey, guys! With this ZEdMod version you can easily edit standard single player levels . Here are two steps: Ones you decided which level you're going to edit, copy appropriate level**.exp file (you'll find it in the attached archive LevelsEXP.rar) to the level folder. For example, for the first leve...

Re: Z Expansion 1.7 beta
You are kidding me, right? I'm not asking for a new installer, because this is NOT needed! Those people who would want to play without admin right know how to edit the registry and move the necessary entries from HKLM to HKCU. So that basically means WE ALL cannot play Z95 on machines without admin...

Hi, goblin!
Nope, it's a public SVN: http://svn.assembla.com/svn/IceCream. I use TortoiseSVN client and quite happy with it.
Also you can browse code manually http://www.assembla.com/spaces/IceCream ... rsion_tool

Re: Z Expansion 1.7 beta
Hi Meeky, any chance you change your patch so that the registry keys are written/read in HKCU instead of HKLM? I think it should be possible for you to redirect the registry access. That patch would also require writing new installer for the game. I'm currently busy with Z clone project, so I have ...
