Re: Video change language?
The audio pack only applies to in-game voices. Videos are stored under the \cuts directory of your Z cdrom, and differ from language to language. Also they weigh around 350 MB. If you really wanted a German version of those videos, you'd have to find someone that uploads them, then burn an ISO repla...

Re: Yet another TCP/IP question
I suppose it is the problem, though the laptop is indeed connected to the same router via wireless connection, so the router restriction should apply there aswell. I really have no clue.

Re: Yet another TCP/IP question
I did. Both actually 'see' the game after a lenghty pause, but then the game freezes or starts the process of searching games over again. However, if I try to set up the game with a laptop (with Vista... ah, the irony) everything works fine.

Re: Yet another TCP/IP question
I am sure it is not a version problem.
I tried the same thing with a different computer, and this time it worked. So it's a configuration problem, though I don't know why.
I am going to post some video as soon as I can play some 1vs1 LAN game.

Re: Yet another TCP/IP question
I doubt it? Both use the very same ISO.

Yet another TCP/IP question
Apparently others have the same problem but I haven't found a solution: two computers in a LAN cannot 'see' each other. I even tried to set up a game with Hamachi - which is useless in a LAN - but to no avail. Eventually, the client will actually detect the host http://img386.imageshack.us/img386/62...

Re: ZTool - a Z Editor Single-Player tool
That was my question exactly. You say it is not possible to add more units to the Blue team; my point was that some custom maps have different start units. For example, in Beaten Eggs Red team starts with 12 units, while Blue team starts with 13. How is it possible? Now about your Blue team balancin...

Re: ZTool - a Z Editor Single-Player tool
Another small bug is that, if you right-click on a Turret in the Output list, the program will crash. But then this is irrelevant afterall; I have another question. Many - if not all - maps of Z, be they custom or not, have different starting units for Red and Blue. Typically, Blue is given more so ...

Re: ZTool - a Z Editor Single-Player tool
I experimented with the editor and finally managed to create a small single-player map. I do have a problem though: when I select several starting units, ZTool only lets me place one kind of these units; i.e. in ZEditor I place for example a Grunt (25,19) and then a Jeep (30,20) in the territory whe...

ZTool - a Z Editor Single-Player tool
First of all I'm new here to this forum, but not to the game. I own the game since 1996-7 IIRC and even now I still get addicted by the formula. Only recently I discovered Z95 and its wonderful editor, something I dreamt about when I, as a child, played Z and wondered about an editor. Unfortunately,...
